The desk stays home. The record doesn't.

Nothing to install on the phone — your assistant is already there. Add the connector once, and it can read your memory from anywhere.

Reads are instant from the replica. Writes queue for the vault — because the vault is the truth.

Reading: your memory, with the PC off

On the Sync plan your vault replicates to a readable cloud copy. Ask Claude on your phone at midnight — what you quoted, what you decided, which subcontractor did the roof — and the answer comes back from the replica while the desktop sleeps. Nothing to install on the phone, nothing new to learn: the assistant you already use gains your memory as a connector.

Writing: honest about the queue

Thoughts do not wait for desks. On Sync, a capture from your phone queues in the cloud, and your desktop files it into the vault the next time it wakes — tagged, sorted, linked, exactly as if you had said it at your desk. Until that happens it is not yet searchable, and your assistant will tell you so rather than pretend otherwise.

Why the wait? Because the vault on your machine is the single writer of record. That is what keeps your Markdown the truth and the cloud a copy — the property the whole product stands on. Live writes from anywhere are on the roadmap.

Which plan this needs

Sync · $5Core · live writes, in developmentLocal is desktop-only

This page is the paid product. The free plan is complete on one machine, but it has no cloud replica — so nothing to answer from your pocket. Sync adds reading from anywhere and queued capture; live writes from the cloud are in development — the roadmap shows where they land.

Questions

Which apps work on the phone?

Any assistant app that supports remote MCP connectors — Claude's mobile app today. The connector address is the same one the desktop clients use; setup is in the docs.

Is a capture from my phone searchable immediately?

No — it queues until your desktop files it. Live writes from the cloud are still in development and arrive with Core. We would rather label the queue honestly than sell it as magic.

What happens if my desktop stays off for days?

Reading is unaffected. Captures wait, and are filed the moment the machine wakes.
