Roadmap

What we're building, and in what order. A local-first memory system your AI can actually use — your notes stay on your own machine, as plain Markdown you can read without us.

No dates on this page, on purpose. Phases ship when they pass their gate, not when a calendar says so. The order may change as real use tells us what matters — but nothing later is a prerequisite for anything earlier.

Phase 1

The Application

Building

A Windows app that stores your files and lets any MCP-native AI read them. No AI inside it — the software stores and finds; your AI does the thinking.

Ships whensomeone can download it, install it, and have their AI answer a question from their notes — without asking us for help.

Phase 2

Better Recall

Next

Making what comes back actually good — measured, not guessed.

Ships whenretrieval quality is measurable, and measurably better.

Phase 3

Sync

Planned

The same vault on every device you own, encrypted so we can't read it.

Ships whenyou can edit on one machine, see it on another, and confirm from our side that what we store is unreadable.

Phase 4

Your AI, Anywhere

Planned

Reach your vault from your phone, from the web, from anywhere — with your desktop switched off.

Ships whenyour phone's AI can file a suggestion with your computer off, and we still hold nothing readable.

Phase 5

Local Assistance

Planned

Your own computer does the bulk work, so your AI doesn't spend its context on it.

Ships whena folder of documents becomes a queue of suggestions you accept, without your main AI ever reading the source.

Phase 6

Capture

Planned

Getting things in should take less effort than getting them out.

Ships whencapturing something takes less effort than deciding whether to.

Beyond Phase 6: macOS and Linux, automatic ingest from the tools you already use, an API and plugin system, team vaults, and enterprise deployment.
